Silent Rain

Finally some realistic art!!! it's good to be back drawing detailed human faces again Now you're probably wondering what "Heavy Rain" means... unless if you watch PewdiePie let's plays, but that's not relevant!

So back on track again, I got "Heavy Rain" for my birthday and played through it twice around a month ago, and yes, it's a video game if that wasn't obvious enough already.
To summarize what the game is all about in a sentence: A father loses his son to the infamous origami killer (no, he doesn't kill poeple with origami figures), and it's up to him and 3 other characters to stop the serial killer. One of them is Madison, which you see in this picture.

It's very different from other games I've played, mainly because of two reasons:

The first one is that "Heavy Rain" has no game over screen. Yes that's right, you cannot lose the game, unless if you count all the tragic ending sequences in the game when you complete the game, which we obviously don't in this case. This make all the actions that you do in this game very important, because they decide what will happen in the future, someone may get away, some may even die, but no matter what happens, the story goes on since you are able to play as FOUR different characters in the game and not just one.

The other thing is that most of the gameplay consists of quick time events. This may sound weird, but I really enjoyed that part, and it suited the game well, since it kinda feels like an interactive movie, which was extremely thrilling in the action sequences

As of some negative stuff about this game, well... the game starts VERY slow. To fully express myself about what slow means in this case, I will use an event from the first part of the game:
You wake up in your bed, go slowly towards the door to find your wife's note laying on the floor, telling something about your sons bithday and her trip to the shopping centre. Then you go inside the bathroom, take a shower, brush your teeth, shave and walk downstairs, waiting for your wife and whildren to come home. Then you take a glass of orange juice and OKAY YOU GET IT, IT'S SLOW!!

So that's my main complain, also some animations doesn't look too well, although their faces look amazing, but it's not a huge deal
